At Taxi Mar Caminha we believe that the Camino de Santiago isn’t just walked in boots and backpacks… it’s also walked with little paws, wagging tails, and looks that accompany us silently but with infinite love. 🐶🐾
We know that for many pilgrims, their pets aren’t just companions; they’re a fundamental part of the journey, the effort, and the joy of each stage.
That’s why, from the beginning, we’ve been clear that everyone is welcome on board: humans and furry friends.
🚤 Our boat, a space for them too.
On our boats that cross from Caminha (Portugal) to Camposancos (A Guarda, Spain),
pilgrim pets always have their place.
Whether they’re walking with their human companion or traveling by bike, we welcome them with open arms and full hearts.
✔️ There’s no additional charge for their transportation.
✔️ No matter their size: big or small, all are welcome.
✔️ We only ask that they be kept on a leash or, if necessary, muzzled (for safety and social interaction).
✔️ If you need help boarding with your pet, our team will be happy to assist you.
