More than 10 years ago, Taxi Mar Caminha was born with a clear purpose: to be the bridge between two shores, two countries, and two cultures, but also between the dreams of thousands of pilgrims seeking to reach Santiago.
What began as a small local river service grew to become a reference for pilgrims on the Portuguese Coastal Way.
Always faithful to our values: family, hard work, honesty, and passion for the Camino.
Since then, we have touched lives, dreams, backpacks, bicycles, pets… and we carry in our hearts every smile of those who choose to trust us.

We booked tickets with Xacobeo Transfer Ferry, but they canceled due to rainy weather. We stumbled upon this company while hiking to find another way to cross the river and continue our journey. They were fast and affordable (€6/person).
